8月8日，第八届中国包头·稀土产业（国际）论坛举行项目签约仪式，共签约项目30余项、总金额100亿元。这些项目涉及稀土电机、电池、永磁等几大产业链的新材料及高科技应用产品，将对包头市稀土产业转型升级、健康发展产生良好的促进作用。

本次签约的项目有日本相模化学金属株式会社与包头市金蒙汇磁材料有限公司合作建设的纯电动汽车用高性能磁体项目；中国科学院电工研究所与包头长安永磁电机有限公司合作的稀土永磁电机控制系统的研发项目；Grommcon资源有限公司与包头市宏博特科技有限公司合作的硫化铈颜料生产技术项目。

The project of this contract is a high performance magnet project for the pure electric vehicle which is jointly constructed by the company and baotou jinmeng hui magnetic materials co., LTD. Research and development project of rare earth permanent magnet motor control system co., LTD. Grommcon resources co., LTD. And baotou hongbo technology co., LTD.

此外，还有北京东方磁源新材料有限公司年产3000吨钕铁硼生产及后加工项目，山东力凯电子科技股份有限公司智能数控多线切割机项目，北京三吉利新材料有限公司年产4000吨钕铁硼生产及后加工项目等。
